These are unprecedented times, and when the lockdown was issued, and the quarantine of the city began, I began looking for different ways to channel my creativity.

With all sports canceled, there was a noticeable void in the competitive world, so I began an initiative that I hoped would build into a motivational throwing-of-the-gauntlet to each building in the downtown area: a creative challenge to promote solidarity, unity and a little dose of friendly competitiveness during this time by challenging each building to come up with their own quarantine logo / campaign / inspirational messaging., and unite behind a common "flag"

Every building has at least one tenant with some graphical prowess or Photoshop expertise, and, as a lot of us sit and wait this thing out, particularly when the sun goes down and everything gets quiet and dark, it's easy to forget that there are hundreds of people around us, each going through the same ordeal, that we can't see, touch or talk to.  The hope is that this will remind people that we're all in this together, and it might provide a fun, creative way to get involved at a time when some may have no other outlet for creative energies.

Due to time constraints, I was never quite able to get the word out as effectively as I had hoped, and I never even announced the initiative online, although I did write to a local news affiliate to inform them that I was planning on doing this, and they responded that they were eager to see where it lead -- So maybe it's not too late.
